Janta Curfew and Impact

Corona has turned out to be a bigger, stronger and faster enemy of mankind than anybody had anticipated. As of now, the entire world is battling this villain. All doctors, nurses, technicians, police, armed forces and other personnel involved in this fight against Corona (Covid-19), we are really grateful to you for going beyond your call of duty. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made an appeal to observe a 'Janta Curfew' on 22 March 2020. Before I move ahead let me quickly explain what Janta Curfew means. Janta means public (or citizenry) and Janta Curfew in effect means a curfew voluntarily observed by all citizens. Apart from appealing for a Janta Curfew, he also requested all citizens to clap and ring metal plates to show our appreciation for providers fighting bravely.

Our PM Narendra Modi appealed and we supported him wholeheartedly. This is Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, one of the busiest roads in Ahmedabad, India. It looks completely deserted. I have never seen it like this ever.

Looking at the brighter side, Janta Curfew had a great impact and Ahmedabad looks so bright and clean. Janta Curfew has really reduced pollution and dust in the air. I will share a video about clapping and ringing metal plates soon.

Good job everyone. Isolation is the most potent weapon in our fight against Corona.

Keeping in mind that all of us confined to our houses, I will try and upload different drone videos of various places that I have shot at.

I know its hard to stay at home for such a long time but these measures are for our safety. Isolation is the biggest weapon we have against Corona followed by awareness and hygiene. I request everyone across the globe to do their bit to fight this pandemic. Our forefathers had to fight multiple wars (including two World Wars) in distant corners of the world for freedom and liberty. Our task is much easier and let's stay at home to preserve our way of life.
