When Kashmir was burning in last three months, education was hit very badly with schools and colleges remaining closed for a very long time. However, one institution emerged as an exception-setting example for others and that was none other than Army Goodwill Public School set up by Indian Army in Pahalgam. Although managing a school in times of conflict is not a child's play, the AGPS has succeeded in motivating the young minds to shun violence and concentrate on their academics.
"I make a fervent appeal to parents not to send their wards to the schools ... Teachers should also remain away from the schools." - Separatist leader and terror sympathizer Syed Ali Shah Geelani in September 2010.
Guess who's the villian and against Kashmiris who want a better future.
This is commendable act by the army.
ReplyDeleteHats off to the army!
