Flying, fun and more!!!

My "catch" from three days well spent at Aero India 2011. It took place from 9-13 Feb, 2011 at Yelhanka AFS, Bangalore.

My pictures at Aero India 2011:

Standing proud next to HAL Light Combat Helicopter (LCH). This is second prototype and was part of the static display. Digital camo seen on this bird is a first for any Indian aircraft. (Vishal Kansagra)

Inside a C-17 Globemaster III. Notice the humongous volume it has. And this was just a part of it. (Vishal Kansagra)

Getting feel of the cockpit of arguably one of the most advanced air-superiority fighters, Eurofighter Typhoon. (Vishal Kansagra)

Boarding Saab 2000. Its naval version is on offer to Indian Navy for maritime patrolling. (Vishal Kansagra)

A euphoric moment for any aviation enthusiast. Sharing space with some of the most advanced combat aircrafts on the globe. Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon, F-16 Block 60, etc. (Vishal Kansagra)

Eurofighter has got a new salesman. :) Notice Sarang (flying HAL Dhruv aka ALH) team in action. (Vishal Kansagra)

  1. Hey, just a quick query. In the third video, there is blimp that is hovering just of the tarmac in the background. Any idea what is this blimp. Is it part of the new aerostat or static radar presence that India is looking at.
